Abstract
The purpose of the study is so that we can understand more about trebuchets and how it has helped during warfare and in the modern world today. Trebuchets have been used in warfare for hurling large stones. We were fascinated by it and decided to create our own one. We used plywood for our trebuchet and different type of glues to make sure they are assembled properly. The results indicated that the more weights used the greater the distance travelled by the projectile. Mechanical design and engineering skills can be learned from building trebuchets.
